What density buckets does an Android launcher icon need?
Android launcher icons span five density buckets — 48 × 48 (mdpi), 72 × 72 (hdpi), 96 × 96 (xhdpi), 144 × 144 (xxhdpi) and 192 × 192 (xxxhdpi) — plus a 512 × 512 Play Store icon. Layerico exports every one into the correct mipmap folder.
Does Layerico generate round launcher icons?
Yes. It writes ic_launcher_round.png alongside ic_launcher.png at every density, so launchers that request the round variant have it available.
Is the Play Store icon included in the APK?
No. The 512 × 512 high-res icon is uploaded separately in the Play Console rather than bundled in the APK. Layerico puts it in its own store folder so it is easy to find.
